The association for the defense of the rights of the child, entitled "The Rays of Hope" and activating in the wilaya of Tizi Ouzou, recently opened three libraries in as many administrative centers in the region.

Recently approved, the association is domiciled at the Ferhat building in the New Town of Tizi Ouzou. Libraries, intended for children and young people under 19, were opened respectively in the villages of Boushel, in the commune of Tizi Rached, Zoubga (commune of Illilten), and in Bouhamdoune, in the commune of Maâtkas. The structures, which are already functional, including weekends, tells us the president of the association, Fatima Zohra Senous, were inaugurated on November 20 and December 19, dates that coincided with the ratification by Algeria of the Universal Convention on the Rights of the Child.
